Just like any electronic device, an electrically controlled operating
table can also experience malfunctions. This is normally
a case for the service technician. But in the time it takes
for the technician to make the house call ... well, actually, not
always that much time. Usually one finds that the problem is
so minor that it doesn’t justify a house call at all.
That’s why TRUMPF has set up a free service for rapid, surefire
error diagnosis and repair: remote diagnosis. To activate
it, the user simply has to inform the TRUMPF customer service
centre and contact the technician there, who then connects
up to the operating table via PC and the telephone line.
Then a special software searches online for errors which the
technician can often then immediately resolve. Even signs of
wear and tear can be detected remotely.
Moreover, TRUMPF experts are not only able to “communicate”
with the table and check its condition remotely, they
can also make it move remotely. So, it makes no difference
whether the table is in the USA, Asia or Europe. Remote
diagnosis is available worldwide via the suitable modems. |
