Your tasks |
You are in charge of coordinating sales and service activities for TRUMPF Med in the Asia-Pacific region (excluding China and Japan). You are based in our Singapore office that covers an area including South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, the ASEAN countries and the Indian subcontinent. You set up new and maintain existing sales channels. Moreover, you identify potential alliance partners. You bring in ideas for products and conditions specific to your market. In addition, you help to identify new market fields and segments.
In cooperation with our central marketing department in Germany you analyze your market, identify market potentials and monitor competitors’ activities.
You nominate sales partners and prepare the conclusion of agency agreements. You take an important part in pricing our products for the market and agreeing on conditions with our partners. Organizing trainings and events for our customers and consulting them on our products is another focus of your operative work.
Together with your staff you technically clarify, calculate and submit offers for specific projects. After being awarded a project you participate in the technical and commercial clarification of the order and in coordinating installation and service of our products.
You report directly to the sales director in Germany. Also, you play a major role in preparing budget and forecast figures (turnover, costs) for your region. |

Your skills |
You have a university or college degree (technical and/or medical). In addition, you can tap on specific experience in medical technology and in sales, preferably in field sales. You possess profound knowledge of the Asia-Pacific markets, of the medical industry and of our competitors and their products.
You are able and willing to work in an inter-cultural environment. Your style is team-oriented but you can work independently. As a natural team leader you can direct and motivate people to their best performance.
Your command of the English language is excellent and you are fluent in Malay or Mandarin. Obviously, you need to be computer literate to work with our modern systems and communication channels.
You are prepared to work in Singapore and to travel without restriction within Asia. |
