TRUMPF Group invests in Australian company |
| Now Australian and New Zealand hospitals can purchase their equipment for operating rooms and intensive care units directly through a new TRUMPF associated company in Sydney. Starting on January 1, 2008 TRUMPF Medical Systems began operating as TRUMPF MED (AUST) PTY LIMITED. Richard Wigham, working with TRUMPF Medical Systems for over eight years, is leading the new company as managing director. TRUMPF MED (AUST) PTY LIMITED offers OR tables, operation and examination lights, ceiling pendants, trolleys and patient transport systems for the TRUMPF Medical Technology Division on the world’s fifth continent. The foundation of the company indicates the international orientation and the increased market presence of the TRUMPF Group. “We are a competent partner for our customers worldwide. The new company reduces the distance to Australian and New Zealand hospitals. There is no other way for a successful and appropriate presence in the market today, and in the future”, says Harald Völker, Head of the Medical Technology Division, and CFO of TRUMPF GmbH + Co. KG. Subsidiaries of TRUMPF Medical Systems are located in the United States, France, Great Britain, Austria and China. Competence centres in Singapore and Shanghai service the Asian market. A competence centre and regional office in Dubai offers customers in the Middle East presentations, courses and services. TRUMPF Medical Systems is present in more than 70 countries. |
