New spokesperson for Managing Board of TRUMPF KREUZER Medizin Systeme |

| Ditzingen, January 10, 2006 – On January 1, 2006, Dr. Kordt Griepenkerl assumed the position of spokesperson for the Managing Board of TRUMPF KREUZER Medizin Systeme GmbH + Co. KG in Puchheim, Germany. He is taking over from Dr. Simone Rehm, who had been interim spokesperson since November 2004, in addition to senior manager of the main IT and Processing Department at TRUMPF Holding. Dr. Rehm is returning to TRUMPF corporate headquarters in Ditzingen at her own request. Dr. Griepenkerl received his Ph. D. in theoretical physics at the University of Frankfurt am Main, Germany in 1994. He began his professional career at the corporate consulting group McKinsey & Company. From 1994 to 1999 he worked in several of the company’s locations, including Munich, Frankfurt, Berlin and Seoul, S. Korea. He was a member of the McKinsey Health Care Practice Group. Between 1999 and 2001 Dr. Griepenkerl worked as an independent consultant and as CEO of an Internet art gallery that he founded. From 2001 until he moved to TRUMPF, Griepenkerl worked in several positions for Berlin-based Biotronik GmbH + Co. KG. He was responsible for the medical technology manufacturer’s operations in Switzerland and had been director of sales there. Griepenkerl is 40 years old and married. |
