TRUMPF Medical Systems is part of the TRUMPF Group.
TRUMPF is a high-tech company with three divisions: Machine Tools and Power Tools, Laser Technology and Electronics, as well as Medical Technology. They are combined under the umbrella of the management holding company, TRUMPF GmbH + Co. KG. A global network of production, sales and service companies supports the business activities of all business divisions.
The TRUMPF Medical Technology business division achieved sales of € 140 million in fiscal year 2008/09 with 544 employees.
TRUMPF Medical Systems develops and produces solutions and products for the OR and ICUS at two locations in Germany. OR tables and functional furniture are manufactured by TRUMPF Medizin Systeme GmbH in Saalfeld, Thuringia. TRUMPF Medizin Systeme GmbH + Co. KG, in Puchheim near Munich, produces ceiling pendants and OR lights.
Subsidiaries of TRUMPF Medical Systems are in the USA, in France, Austria, Great Britain, Italy, Australia and China. Representative Offices are in Singapore and Dubai. In more than 80 additional countries TRUMPF Medical Systems is present with sales partners.
