The entire facility underscores TRUMPF’s commitment to innovation and being a technology leader. However it has far greater potential than just a showroom. On 150 square meters it basically mimics a series of hospital environments. There customers will find ideal conditions to familiarize themselves with high-end medical technology solutions and test them personally – a unique concept so-far in this region. In rooms equipped with the latest TRUMPF technology, doctors, surgeons and operating room assistants as well as planners and hospital administrators will experience how future-oriented workplaces can look. The realistic exhibition rooms will let them simulate everyday scenarios in the hospital, test products and immediately work out the solutions that are best suited to their needs.

Media representatives, customers and partners from all over South-East Asia attend the opening ceremony of the new TRUMPF Medical Technology Center aon June 16, 2011, which was graced by Beng Wan Ong, Regional Director Asia of TRUMPF Medical Systems in Singapore and Harald Völker, President of the Medical Technology Division.

After unveiling a curtain to officially open the new center a traditional performance of the Chinese lion dance took place, which is reputed to bring good luck and prosperity. The the guests were taken on a guided tour of the showroom and got impressions on TRUMPF’s medical technology innovations.

TRUMPF Medical Technology in Singapore was established in 2003 as a representative office. Since then the office is expanding rapidly in Singapore as the Medical Technology Division aims to make the Singapore office the region’s centre of excellence.
