MEDICA – Successful beginning of the trade show

The first day promised a successful event in Dusseldorf, Germany. At the world's biggest healthcare trade show MEDICA 2011 TRUMPF Medical Systems is showcasing innovations for state-of-the-art OR processes. Also the company is holding a versatile program of expert talks and positioning workshops at its booth in hall 13, A 42.

This year's product highlight is "TruVidia Manager": a high-performance, easy-to-use video management system for the operating room. "Digitization is continuing its advance in the operating room. That includes distribution of the video signals which - in the meantime - have become numerous, documentation of surgery, and communications with the world outside the OR." That is how Dr. Tim Schwebel, Product Manager at TRUMPF, describes hospitals' current demands. "Video and audio data have to be recorded, archived and transmitted - and that at unvaryingly high quality levels. By shouldering all these tasks, TruVidia Manager, as the network command center, simplifies the work in the operating room. With its TruVidia camera system, TRUMPF offers the basis for high-quality video recordings in the OR. TruVidia Manager is the logical extension of our portfolio of image processing products." Visitors were excited of this system and especially impressed by its easy and intuitive user interface.
