With the choice of eight models, you can select the one with the right height, which also has the necessary table top adjustment, and the desired drive. This will turn your MARS into a perfectly tailored OR table for your working environment.
For operating in a sitting position, as in ophthalmology, ear, nose and throat and other disciplines, we recommend the low version with a minimal height of 600 mm. The basic version is ideal for use in spinal surgery because it can be expanded by adding the TRUMPF spinal cord positioning device. Combined with a Wilson frame, the low version of MARS is the perfect table for neurosurgery and spinal surgery.

The basic equipment for the MARS comprises the longitudinally-adjustable table top and, depending on the version, either a seat section and lower back section or a seat section, lower back section and leg section - you choose everything else according to your specific requirements. The individual modules are inter-changeable and can be combined in an unlimited number of ways. This means you can put together precisely the operating table you need while eliminating unnecessary additional expense.
Due to its diverse functionality and almost unlimited configuration options and few manual manoeuvres, the MARS table easily changes from an all-round performer into a specialist. Simply select the components and positioning accessories to meet your needs for each procedure. The motorised longitudinal adjustment permits precise positioning under the C-arm for intra-operative imaging. For 360° radiolucency, use of x-ray translucency, use our full line of carbon fibre components and accessories.
The table´s motorised drive makes the transport of heavy patients easier and is comfortable to control with the QuickMove operating panel. With its big dual castors the MARS table is easy to manoeuvre even on uneven floors.
Additional practical benefits have been incorporated into the park position: four motorised legs extend to the floor taking the weight of the table off the wheels, providing absolute support and stability during the procedure. A further benefit with this feature is that the wheels rotate freely in this position, making cleaning easier. The y-form of the chassis gives you optimal leg and foot freedom when the table is in any position. All table functions can be controlled from various locations: by using the foot switch; the column panel; the infrared remote control or by using the cable remote control.
